Chinese proverb

“Woman was taken out of man;
not out of his head to top him,
nor out of his feet to be trampled underfoot;
but out of his side to be equal to him,
under his arm to be protected,
and near his heart to be loved.”

If this is a Chinese Proverb, where did they get this knowledge about woman taken out of man as in Genesis...

thoughts to ponder...

... I dug out somemore and it may not be a Chinese proverb after all... but I don't care - I think the words still ring true.

Even then, apparently the Chinese originally started out worshipping Yahweh and that Chinese characters have Biblical principles embedded in them...
